Dr. Mary E. Ridgway Endowed Scholarship

The Dr. Mary E. Ridgway Endowed Scholarship was created by Dr. Mary E. Ridgway ‘71, ’74. Dr. Ridgway received her master’s and doctorate in Physical Education from Texas Woman’s University. Dr. Ridgway had a long and distinguished career in higher education serving as a head coach, Professor of Kinesiology, and senior administrator at the University of Texas at Arlington from 1976 – 2006. She created this scholarship to support an undergraduate student who has earned at least 60 credit hours toward their degree in kinesiology.
