The Neva Cochran Endowed Scholarship in Nutrition was established to create a scholarship for Dietetic Internship Program student in the Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences and can be in either their first or second year of the program.

For instance, you may describe how, as a registered dietitian nutritionist, you will counsel clients regarding organic farming compared to conventional and bioengineered (GMO) farming, the nutritional value of frozen and canned foods compared to fresh foods, the value/risk to consumers of additives/preservatives in food products, and/or other issues related to food and science-based nutrition.
