Dr. Dawn S. Chaney Graduate Endowed Scholarship

The Dr. Dawn S. Chaney Graduate Endowed Scholarship was created in 2022 by Dr. Dawn S. Chaney. Dawn earned three degrees from TWU- BS in Physical Education in 1963, MA in Physical Education in 1966 and her Ph.D. in Physical Education in 1970.

• Major – first preference for majors in Exercise Physiology
• Minimum Cumulative GPA – typically 3.2 for GR
• Minimum Enrollment Requirement – typically 9 credit hours GM or Doctoral
• Minimum Total Credit Hours Earned – Any
• Renewability – Scholarship may be renewed if all requirements are met.
• FAFSA – Must show demonstrated financial need on application.
• Other – Student recipient should have examples of their commitment to women’s leadership. Post-Acceptance responses must be completed before funds will be transmitted.
