Dr. Carolyn Colvin Endowed Scholarship

The Dr. Carolyn Colvin Endowed Scholarship was created through an estate gift from Dr. Carolyn Colvin. Dr. Colvin graduated from TWU with her BA in physical education in 1952 and her MA in 1953. She went on to earn her Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1970 after teaching at LSU. Carolyn went to Macomb, IL in 1963 and taught at the Western Illinois University Lab School until 1975, when she was transferred to the Women s Physical Education Department at WIU. She retired in 1990.
