Cecelia Winn Scholarship Endowment

The Cecelia Winn Scholarship Endowment honors TWU nursing alumna Cecelia Jean Gardon (Winn), who earned her BSN at Texas Woman’s University in 1978 and built a career delivering specialized nursing care in emergency, ICU, flight medicine, and neonatal settings across Texas. Established through the Cecil M. and LaNelle B. Winn Living Trust on Mother’s Day 2019, this scholarship reflects Cecelia’s deep understanding of the challenges TWU nursing students face, particularly working parents. This scholarship supports undergraduate nursing students at Texas Woman’s University.
