Jane Bosart Foundation Scholarship Endowment
The Jane Bosart Kinney Endowed Scholarship honors the life of Jane Bosart Kinney, who came of age during the Great Depression and overcame repeated financial barriers to earn her degree from the Indiana University Business School in 1939, even becoming the first woman admitted to IU’s law school, though limited funds prevented her from attending. Her son established the Jane Bosart Foundation in her memory to intervene on behalf of students whose education is at risk due to financial insecurity, and that mission now extends to Texas Woman’s University. This need-based scholarship supports TWU students at a critical point in their academic journey, with preference given to those entering in their second year.
