Bernadette Davel Annual Scholarship

The Bernadette Davel Annual Scholarship was established by Dr. Noralynn Pickens to honor her mother, Bernadette Davel, and to reflect the values Dr. Pickens carried throughout her tenure at Texas Woman’s University as Associate Dean for Interprofessional Education and Strategic Initiatives in the College of Health Sciences and College of Nursing. Dr. Pickens dedicated her career at TWU to advancing collaborative health education and strengthening partnerships across the Dallas, Denton, and Houston campuses. This scholarship supports single-parent students who balance the responsibilities of raising a family while pursuing their education at Texas Woman’s University.
