Dorothy Day Scholarship Endowment in Health Promotion and Kinesiology
The Dorothy Day Endowed Scholarship in Health Promotion and Kinesiology honors TWU alumna Dorothy Day, who earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Physical Education from Texas Woman’s University and devoted her career to teaching and mentoring. Donor Nancy J. Mize established this scholarship in Dorothy’s memory to support TWU students in the School of Health Promotion and Kinesiology who demonstrate leadership and a commitment to health and wellness, with preference given to those with financial need.
