Christiana O. Faleti Scholarship Endowment

The Christiana O. Faleti Scholarship Endowment was created by Adeyinka Faleti to honor the life of Christiana O. Faleti, who began her career as a teacher in Nigeria, immigrated to the United States, and pursued her bachelor’s degree in special education at Texas Woman’s University while working full-time, raising four children, and commuting weekly from Arlington to Denton. In the final semester before graduating, Christiana lost her battle with cancer at age 47, leaving behind a family committed to carrying her legacy forward. This endowment supports future teachers in the College of Professional Education with an emphasis in special education, ensuring her lifelong passion for teaching continues to shape the lives of children and families.
