Chemistry & Biochemistry Endowed Scholarship
The Chemistry and Biochemistry Endowed Scholarship was created by Cynthia Maguire ‘01,’03. Maguire earned her Bachelor of Science in medical technology from Central State University in her hometown of Edmond OK in 1976. She later earned two M.S. degrees, biology teaching (2001) and chemistry teaching (2003), from Texas Woman’s University. She remained at TWU as a Lecturer on the faculty until her retirement in 2020 when she became Senior Lecturer Emeritus in Chemistry and Biochemistry. The scholarship is to support either an undergraduate or graduate students in good standing, pursuing a degree in chemical sciences, demonstrating consistent progress toward degree completion. Min. 2.0 CGPA for UG / 3.0 for GR on all prior coursework. Consideration is given to applicants with financial need as stated through the application process.
