William I. Dunson Scholarship Endowment - (Music)
The purpose of the Fund is to provide a stream of income to support a scholarship to be used for a student pursuing a degree in the Department of Music who is studying piano using the following criteria:
• Application Dates – Opens July 1, Closes March 1
• Awarding Department – Scholarship Committee of Department of Music
• Department Contact – music@twu.edu
• Level – Any
• Classification – Any
• Major – Music
• Minimum Cumulative GPA – 3.0
• Minimum Enrollment Requirement – 12 credit hours for undergraduate, 9 credit hours for graduate
• Minimum Total Credit Hours Earned – NA
• Renewability – may be held for a total of 2 consecutive years for masters, 3 consecutive years for doctoral, 4 consecutive years for undergraduate, completion of degree, if all requirements are met
• FAFSA – Recommended
• Other – Evidence of academic excellence (e.g., GRE scores, awards, honors, theses, citations for presentations or published works, piano performance, etc.)
Must be eligible to receive aid
Submission of Post Acceptance responses within the deadline (scholarship will not disburse until this is completed)
