Dorothy Meyer Kincaid Scholarship Endowment (Biology)

The Dorothy Meyer Kincaid Scholarship Fund was established to provide a stream of income to support scholarships to students enrolled in Texas Woman’s University pursuing a degree in the Biology Department. Recipients of this scholarship will be selected by the Biology Department Scholarship Committee based on academic standing, classification and required essay. To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, students must be Biology majors, be at least a Junior by the beginning of the Fall semester, have at least a 3.0 GPA and complete the required essay. Eligibility does not guarantee an award.’’

  1. Must be an Upper-class or graduate student pursuing degrees in Biology at Texas Woman's University to be eligible to apply. Strong preference shall be given to prospective recipients working towards a career in medical technology field. Must have demonstrated strong academic performance as evidenced through grade-point average, quality of the essay and other academic achievements deemed relevant by the selection committee. Applicants may be of any Faith or Creed as long as prospective recipients can address component(s) of the Judeo-Christian Ethic with academic objectivity and intellectual honesty.
  2. Please indicate your classification by the beginning of Fall 2022 semester
  3. Must submit an essay to the scholarship committee on the Judeo-Christian Ethic's role in the advancement of medical science.
