Jane Whalen Korba Foundation Annual Scholarship (Scholarship Committee)

The Jane Whalen Korba Foundation Annual Scholarship was created to award annual scholarships for undergraduate and/or master’s students pursuing a degree at TWU.
The following are the requirements:

• Application Dates – Opens July 1, Closes March 1
• Awarding Department – General Scholarship Committee – Donor reviews finalist
• Department Contact – scholarships@twu.edu
• Level – Graduate or Undergraduate
• Classification – Any
• Major – Any
• Minimum Cumulative GPA – 3.0 (undergraduate), 3.2 (graduate)
• Minimum Enrollment Requirement – 12 credit hours (undergraduate), 9 credit hours (graduate)
• Minimum Total Credit Hours Earned – NA
• Renewability – (may be held for a total of 2 (masters), 3 (doctoral), 4 (undergraduate) consecutive years, or completion of degree, if all requirements are met
• FAFSA –Required
• Other – first preference non-traditional student who is single parent who is beginning or returning to complete degree
Expresses financial need
Submission of Post Acceptance responses within the deadline (scholarship will not disburse until this is completed)
