Gradys Barger Gardner Endowed Scholarship (Visual Arts)

The Gradys Barger Gardner Endowment was established by Gradys Gardner studied art at TWU when it was known as College of Industrial Arts (CIA). She had a long and successful career teaching art in public schools. Her motto has always been “He who joy would have must share it. Happiness was born a twin.”
The following requirements are below:

• Application Dates – Opens July 1, Closes March 1
• Awarding Department – General Scholarship Committee
• Department Contact – scholarships@twu.edu
• Level – Graduate or Undergraduate
• Classification – Any
• Major – Arts/Visual Arts
• Minimum Cumulative GPA – 3.0 (undergraduate), 3.2 (graduate)
• Minimum Enrollment Requirement –12 credit hours (undergraduate), 9 credit hours (graduate)
• Minimum Total Credit Hours Earned – NA
• Renewability – may be held for a total of 2 (masters), 3 (doctoral), 4 (undergraduate) consecutive years, or completion of degree, if all requirements are met
• FAFSA –not required
• Other – Submission of Post Acceptance responses within the deadline (scholarship will not disburse until this is completed)
