Jay-lin Jane-Topel and David G. Topel Scholarship Endowment for Chemistry

The purpose of the Fund is to provide a stream of income to support a scholarship to be used for a
student pursuing a degree in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry using the following
criteria:
a. A minimum 3.0 academic average (on a 4 point scale) for previous academic work.
b. Evidence of academic excellence (e.g., GRE scores, awards, honors, theses, citations for
presentations or published works, etc.).
The recipient is to be chosen by the Scholarship Committee of the Department of Chemistry and
Biochemistry.
