Dr. Mary K. Sparks Endowed Scholarship

The Dr. Mary K. Sparks Endowed Scholarship was created by the TWU Faculty. They voted to name the endowment in honor of Dr. Mary K. Sparks, who for taught in the Mass Communications Program for 15 years. She served as the director for eight years, found the Dallas Teen Age Project in 1990, and was the guiding force in the program’s accreditation in 1995.
