Ima Jean Boenker Endowed Scholarship (Nutrition)

Ima Jean Bloomer Boenker received her Bachelor of Science in Institutional Management in 1948 from TWU, then known as Texas State College for Women. She continued her education and obtained her Master’s of Science in Food and Nutrition from TWU in 1966. Ms. Boenker, who passed away on December 29, 2006, was a longtime supporter of the University and had a long and distinguished career in the nutrition and dietetic profession.
