Mary Alice Harris Metcalf Scholarship Endowment (Houston Nursing)

The purpose of the Mary Alice Harris Metcalf fund is to provide a stream of income to support scholarships for students based on the following criteria:

• Application Dates – Opens July 1, Closes March 1
• Awarding Department – College of Nursing Scholarship Committee
• Department Contact – nursing@twu.edu
• Level – Graduate or Undergraduate
• Classification – Any
• Major – Nursing
• Minimum Cumulative GPA – 3.0 (undergraduate), 3.2 (graduate)
• Minimum Enrollment Requirement –12 credit hours (undergraduate), 9 credit hours (graduate)
• Minimum Total Credit Hours Earned – NA
• Renewability – (may be held for a total of 2 (masters), 3 (doctoral), 4 (undergraduate) consecutive years, or completion of degree, if all requirements are met
• FAFSA – not required
• Other – Located at the Houston campus
Submission of Post Acceptance responses within the deadline (scholarship will not disburse until this is completed)
