Mary Evelyn Dunn Hayes Scholarship Endowment for the College of Professional Education
Mary Evelyn Dunn Hayes Endowed Scholarship for the College of Professional Education was created to provide a stream of income to support one or more scholarships to be awarded on the basis of academic merit and financial need to deserving students in the COPE who aspire to a career in teaching. Selection will be made based on the following criteria:
• Application Dates – Opens July 1, Closes March 1
• Awarding Department – General Scholarship Committee
• Department Contact – scholarships@twu.edu
• Level – Graduate or Undergraduate
• Classification – Any
• Major – Education
• Minimum Cumulative GPA – 3.0 for UG, 3.2 for GR
• Minimum Enrollment Requirement – 12 credit hours UG, 9 credit hours GR
• Minimum Total Credit Hours Earned – NA
• Renewability – may be held for a total of 2 (masters), 3 (doctoral), 4 (undergraduate) consecutive years, or completion of degree, if all requirements are met
• FAFSA – Recommended
• Other – Application needed

Submission of Post Acceptance responses within the deadline (scholarship will not disburse until this is completed)
