Helen Benjamin Scholarship In English (ESFL)

The purpose of the Helen Benjamin Scholarship in English is to provide an annual gift to support a scholarship to be used for students pursuing a degree in the Department of English.

The recipient must fulfill the following requirements:
• Application Dates – Opens July 1, Closes March 1
• Awarding Department – College of Arts and Sciences Scholarship Committee
• Department Contact – cas@twu.edu
• Level – Graduate or Undergraduate
• Classification – Any
• Major – English, Speech, Foreign Language
• Minimum Cumulative GPA – 3.0 for (undergraduate), 3.2 (graduate)
• Minimum Enrollment Requirement – 12 credit hours (undergraduate), 9 credit hours (graduate)
• Minimum Total Credit Hours Earned – NA
• Renewability – may be held for a total of 2 (masters), 3 (doctoral), 4 (undergraduate) consecutive years, or completion of degree, if all requirements are met
• FAFSA – Recommended
• Other – Submission of Post Acceptance responses within the deadline (scholarship will not disburse until this is completed)
