Helen Haddix Deiker and Robert W. Deiker Endowment Annual Fund

The Helen Haddix Deiker and Robert W. Deiker Endowment Fund was established in the TWU Foundation through the estate plans of Mrs. Helen Haddix Deiker. Mrs. Deiker, who passed away on October 16, 2007, attended Texas Woman’s University in the early 1940’s. She taught high school math for many years and served as the head of the special education department in Hindsdale High school in Hindsdale, Illinois. She married Robert “Bob” W. Deiker in 1960 and they lived in New York and Illinois before returning to Texas. This fund provides a stream of income to support scholarships for students at TWU.
