Veneta Onley Young Endowed Scholarship (Family Studies)

The Veneta Onley Young Scholarship was established by colleagues, family and friends of Veneta Onley Young to provide awards to undergraduate students pursuing a degree in home economics education. Recipients are selected by the scholarship committee of the Department of Family Studies.

• Level – Undergraduate
• Classification – Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
• Major – majors in Family Studies with a first preference to BS in Family Studies – Family and Consumer Science
• Minimum Cumulative GPA – typically 3.0 for UG
• Minimum Enrollment Requirement – typically 12 credit hours UG
• Minimum Total Credit Hours Earned – Any
• Renewability – Scholarship may be renewed if all requirements are met.
• FAFSA – Recommended but not required.
• Other – Post-Acceptance responses must be completed before funds will be transmitted.
