TWU International Student Scholarship PHD

Entering international doctoral students who are starting a doctoral program at TWU for the first time may apply for this scholarship. The minimum eligibility requirements are full-time enrollment (9 or more credit hours per semester), admission into a doctoral program at TWU, generally a minimum GPA of 3.2 in your final master’s degree, or a minimum of 3.2 in your final bachelor’s degree to be considered for this scholarship. In addition, applicants must also have submitted their immigration documentation to the TWU International Education Office to be eligible for consideration. Awards are $2,000 annually, 50% of scholarship in fall and 50% in spring. Current TWU international doctoral students are not eligible for this scholarship. This award is automatically renewable for up to three years for doctoral students as long as the recipient maintains a 3.2 or higher cumulative GPA and full-time enrollment. This scholarship is awarded on the basis of cumulative GPA and academic discipline.
