Dawson Scholarship Endowment

The Dawson scholarship was created through the generous donation property from Betty Dawson, Donald Dawson, Frances Dawson and John L. Dawson. Endowed scholarship fund is to cover tuition/fees for a full academic year for single parents who reside in TWU single parents housing. The Dawson Scholarship honors the unique strengths of parenting students. A Dawson Scholar embodies the qualities of a true leader, demonstrating dedication, integrity, and a commitment to inspiring others.

– Disclaimer – By accepting this scholarship, recipients will actively contribute to the SPARK student organization, attending events and taking the lead in organizing two events each semester. The CARE office reserves the right to withdraw the offer if the recipient does not meet the GPA and enrollment requirements. Additionally, the recipient understands that a completed licensing agreement and/or residing in on-campus family housing with University Housing is a requirement.
