Dr. Mona S. Hersh-Cochran Endowed Scholarship (SOM)

The purpose of Dr. Mona S. Hersh-Cochran Scholarship Endowment is to provide a stream of income to support an annual scholarship for an Outstanding Student pursuing Economics as a career (or a related business discipline with emphasis in economics) based upon the following criteria.

• Application Dates – Opens July 1, Closes March 1
• Awarding Department – Dean of College of Business – Dr. Rama Yelkur
• Department Contact – business@twu.edu
• Level – Undergraduate
• Classification – Senior
• Major – Economics or any business discipline with an emphasis on economics
• Minimum Cumulative GPA – 3.5
• Minimum Enrollment Requirement – 12 credit hours
• Minimum Total Credit Hours Earned – NA
• Renewability – may be held until completion of degree, if all requirements are met
• FAFSA – not required
• Other – Two letters of reference from faculty
Submission of Post Acceptance responses within the deadline (scholarship will not disburse until this is completed)
