Physical Therapy Scholarship

Established by the School of Physical Therapy. Recipients must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better and a grade of C or better in all prerequisite course work with no repeat course work. Financial need will be considered. Applicants must submit a copy of their academic transcript and a statement outlining their educational expenses to the Director of the School of Physical Therapy. 1) Students must be enrolled full-time in upper dividion or graduate physical therapy courses. 2) Each scholarship will be $200 a year ($100 Fall semester and $100 Spring semester) plus out-of-state waiver, if needed. 3) Criteria for this award is competitive based on evidence of academic excellence through GPA (90%) and financial need (10%). A student must complete and submit the Physical Therapy Departmental Scholarship application by the deadline. Students must submit the financial assistance form for the School of Physical Therapy and a copy of the ACT Form and/or Tax Return Form (1040) for the previous year. Students must submit an up-to-date transcript or cumulative GPA cinfirmed and signed by the TWU Registrar.
